looking for field reporting crew

As part of the upcoming student show airing on rvtv, field reports will involve the community at sou, and inform students / residents of local opinions on the most important issues.

We are looking for individuals and crew members to produce field reports or short documentaries locally about anything you want. If you just want to produce the report based on assignments, this can be arranged. If you would just like to interview people about something you are interested in, a camera crew can be arranged to film you. Likewise, if you are a camera crew who only want to film stuff, a reporter can be arranged to interview and/or report for your camera.

Either if you just want to report of if you want to be a crew or edit and you think you are able to produce these reports in a timely fashion, email souvp@yahoo.com and include field reporting in the subject. Include in the email your interests, experience, and availability.

episode 1

Submissions for episode 1 are due Febuary 16th. I am shooting for an hour long show, which will air at 10pm on RVTV channel 9. Submissions should be no longer than 15 minutes, and be on DVD. There is no restrictions on content - go wild!

Also we need some ideas for a name of the show. Its going to be a compilation of student made videos of any type. Some are funny, some are informational, some are relaxing, but most are funny.

Cail and Jake made this sweet video promoting 'Kevin Douglas' as an up and coming MMA star. We also filmed an interview segment with Cristo and Cail for ESPN Deportes about Kevins rigorous training and his upcoming fight against Brock Lesnar. The second will be featured on next weeks show. woot.

TNL prequel sesh

Last tuesday we got into studio b and played around with the resources at hand. We recorded two shows, one black metal show and a video game review type show. We're really excited for upcoming shows, and getting in there really helped us understand what we have and put ideas into our heads. The equipment we are using is super old and 80's so shows will follow suit. If anyone has an idea for a show bring it on! You really only need to have around 5 mins of material, but anything is possible. We have two weeks to prepare for the next show so lets make it awesome. If anyone has props and/or set peices they would like to donate to the studio that would be sweet and you should let me know so we can have a comfortable area in there for relaxed programming.

Tuesday Night Live from Studio B

We are looking for individuals interested in helping with a 'SNL' variety type show on tuesday nights. The times you would need to be available in order to help with production is (at the latest) 5 oclock to approximately 7. If you are interested but cannot make the time we also need news and sketch writers, and possible a field crew to shoot things prior to the show.
