Anyone who wants to submit anything for the beer show should do so by Wednesday, the 2nd. It doesn't necessarily have to be video, it can be animation, a series of drawings or photos with a voice over, or even just plain ol photos.

This is beer we're talking about, shouldnt be too hard to think of something. :p

Our meetings are officially every Wednesday at 7:30 at RVTV! Come and be involved!

J. Smilez Show first episode

Hey everyone, the first episode of the J. Smilez Show is online for your viewing pleasure. If you want to help out please comment on this post and I will let you know when we are filming and you can come by and lend a hand.

We will be periodically taking submissions for content, whether it be graphic art or time based - animation, film, etc.

looking for field reporting crew

As part of the upcoming student show airing on rvtv, field reports will involve the community at sou, and inform students / residents of local opinions on the most important issues.

We are looking for individuals and crew members to produce field reports or short documentaries locally about anything you want. If you just want to produce the report based on assignments, this can be arranged. If you would just like to interview people about something you are interested in, a camera crew can be arranged to film you. Likewise, if you are a camera crew who only want to film stuff, a reporter can be arranged to interview and/or report for your camera.

Either if you just want to report of if you want to be a crew or edit and you think you are able to produce these reports in a timely fashion, email souvp@yahoo.com and include field reporting in the subject. Include in the email your interests, experience, and availability.

episode 1

Submissions for episode 1 are due Febuary 16th. I am shooting for an hour long show, which will air at 10pm on RVTV channel 9. Submissions should be no longer than 15 minutes, and be on DVD. There is no restrictions on content - go wild!

Also we need some ideas for a name of the show. Its going to be a compilation of student made videos of any type. Some are funny, some are informational, some are relaxing, but most are funny.
